Residential refurbishment & fit out

2000 sqft

Konstruct Interiors was delighted to be approached by a private residential client seeking an expert approach to the internal finishing on their family home.  The specification on this project was extremely high, with the client seeking to combine classic Edwardian features with some contemporary elements, creating a truly timeless look that’s adapted to every aspect of their lifestyle.

Konstruct’s design team devised a beautiful scheme including feature skirting boards, architraves, door and window mouldings throughout, bringing a touch of period style to this new build property.  We oversaw the design and fitting of a bespoke fitted kitchen, handmade to measure and enhanced with a drop ceiling created to precisely mirror the shape of the custom-made kitchen island and backlit with colour adjustable LEDs.  Elsewhere, Konstruct commissioned the installation of an elevator as per the client’s request; this was concealed behind a set of double doors with top plinth to match the rest of the house and ensures this home is future-proofed for every stage of life.  Accessibility in the property is further enhanced with the installation of stunning pocket doors between the kitchen and dining area, ensuring the best use of floor space in what is sure to be a real ‘entertaining’ kitchen.

Finished throughout in high quality marble tiles, other key features of this beautiful home include the study, where Konstruct Interiors designed a fully-fitted library shelving system with a contrast interior for a modern twist on the classic period look.

Upstairs, the master bathroom features a decadent sauna with integrated seating finished in beautiful blue mosaic tiles.

Indeed blue is used as an accent colour throughout the property which also blends shade of grey, white and cream punctuated by pops of bright yellow to create a cohesive and restful scheme that retains an element of playfulness.
